Here some few and interesting facts about the season:
NLAB – Hi Lorenzo, thank you for being part of our program and thank you for giving us some of your time, the pleasure to see one of our bike in front of thousands and thousands of people out there!
How was taking part of 2020 AMA SX?
LC284 – “Well, taking part of AMA Sx 2020 was amazing, one of the best moment of my life, I mean is a dream for everyone racing the most difficult and prestigious championship of the world. I am very very happy,
and emotional, it’s very hard to describe because you know when you are out there with the best riders in the world you are kinda scared but at the same moment very proud to be there and it’s just an amazing feeling.”
NLAB – What was the most difficult part of this venture?
LC284 – “So the most difficult part I’ve been through was to organize everything by myself. Shipping spare parts, buying my bike, dealing with people that [only want to scam] and take advantage of you, and different culture.
so I would say the logistics part, the Van, the Bike, the mechanic and those things are very difficult to find and super expensive.”
NLAB – What’s the difference between racing in Europe and racing in USA ?
LC284 – “So the main difference between racing in Europe and racing in USA are the tracks. The tracks in the US are way harder than the tracks in Europe so you need time to get used to the rhythm sections, the steepness of the
jumps and the scariest thing, the whoops. Pretty much the difficulty of the tracks because we are not used to racing in this difficult rhythm sections and big jumps so it takes time to get used to this. The public here in
USA is amazing, much much more than Europe.”
NLAB – Describe your best moment and your worst moment ..
LC284 – “The best moment was for sure my first main event when I finished 9th in my Heat in Anaheim 2. That was definitely the best moment in my entire Supercross career because you know you always dream about racing
and qualify for the most difficult Supercross race in the world and when you get through the first time from an heat race so not even an LCQ so top 9 you know it’s just feels amazing.
The worst moment that I had racing in USA when I had a crash in Pheonix, Glendale, where I land on a top block and I crash over the bar. It was pretty painfull but overall I didn’t broke any bones it was just very sour
but it’s just a bummer because you are fighting for a transfer position and you just crash for yourself and it is very frustrating.”
NLAB – 2 words about NLAB..
LC284 – “Company based on my same passion, great artists, so if you are looking for some of the weirdest or the best graphics just talk to Nik. Nik is the business guy, the mind and the main artist. Like me, he is traveling
from another country, for the same passion, and to build his dream. So great projects, great design, and a lot of passion, I think is a great combo.”
Thank you Lorenzo and congratulation on your amazing 2020.
